The Piedmont Division is sponsoring the 2023 SER Convention in Cartersville, GA starting Thursday, September 14th through Saturday, September 16th, 2023.

We are looking for layouts to showcase the talents of the Piedmont Division modelers to the SER and NMRA members attending the Cartersville Express 2023 SER Convention.

Given Atlanta traffic, the idea is to keep attendees in the Cartersville and Kennesaw areas on Friday, and to Cobb and Cherokee Counties on Saturday. As attendees are leaving in all directions on Sunday, most Piedmont members could expect someone traveling nearby.

Friday, September 15, 2023 – Cartersville and Kennesaw areas
Saturday September 16, 2023—Cobb and Cherokee Counties/I-575 Corridor
Sunday, September 17, 2023—entire Piedmont Division

NOTE: These open houses are ONLY for hobbyists attending the convention—NOT the public.

We are open to including any Piedmont Division layouts during any of these days, but want attendees to visit as many as possible in the time available.

As we are over a year out before the convention, we are not expecting firm commitments at this time. But if you MIGHT be interested in sharing your layout with fellow hobbyists, please send a quick email to admin@piedmont-div.org
