Train N' Camp "Model Railroading 102 - Basic Scenery"

Sat, 05/06/2017 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm

The Piedmont Division presents its second 2017 special clinic session, "Model Railroading 102 - Basic Scenery."

Attendees will learn how to add basic scenery to their Model Railroad. We will start with a base layer of extruded foam insulation and a small hill. Students will apply roadbed, a section of track, and then add basic scenery and ballast to the diorama. Students will learn how to add texture and color to their diorama in order to achieve a more realistic setting for their model trains. All work will be done in HO scale but the principles learned can be applied to any scale and gauge of model railroading.

Enrollment is strictly limited to 8 students.  There is no charge for "Model Railroading 102, Basic Scenery" and all materials will be supplied.  It is suggested that the student not wear their Sunday best to work in as this hands-on clinic may get a bit messy.

Membership in the Piedmont Division is not required. If you have questions or would like to register, contact Perry Lamb at
